The audience of my magazine are girls aged 19-24 who are radicalists and non-conformists. As my audience are young adults and most likely students or shop workers, they would rank in the C2/D/E categories on the jicnar scale. They are all about living in the now and living life for fun, they care little about money or careers, music is the most important thing for them.
They enjoy going to gigs both locally and across the country. They enjoy playing instruments, or wish that they could play them. They have half a dozen sets of headphones and a 108GB I-Pod. We they go out clubbing they go to alternative clubs that play rock not pop. Most of the money they earn goes to music, then piercings, then tattoos, then food.
My readers love shopping at alternative clothing stores such as Blue Banana and Four Leaf. They wouldn't be seen dead in New Look or Topshop! Skinny Jeans are a must, and they are often seen in their favourite bands merchindise, showing their support.
They are artistic, and spend a lot of time on websites like Deviantart sharing their drawings and commenting on others. They also spend a lot of time on youtube, watching music videos of
their favourite songs.
Some of my target audience's favourite bands are, Halestorm, Paramore, Evanessence and The Pretty Reckless. They also like listening to bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Escape the Fate, which have male lead singers.
Excellent profile of target audience. Do you need to mention jicnar classifications though?
